Predominance-Politics-People-Pain

"POLITICALLY STRONG"- For me these two words seem like two mammoths standing side by side.

Powerful words, isn't it? I heard these words before but they didn't create any impact on me. But when I heard those words from my professor last week. This was the first time a new neuron was created in my brain. I contemplated on hearing those mighty words.

Everyone knows that politics is everywhere. Everyone did some politics in their life. For people who haven't done the politics they will do the politics somewhere down the line in their life. I have seen people in my life who know how to do politics and also I have seen people who were empathetic who avoid politics. Who will go up in the ladder fast?

If this question was asked before 2 or 3 years. My answer will be the people who are empathetic because that kind of people will be liked by everyone and everyone have good opinion about them even the people who are doing the politics but still they do the politics to them.

But now, I'm in dilemma. I don't know what to say. An old saying is there " Do In Rome As Romans Do". If everyone is throwing stones at us, we have again respond him by throwing stones at them. If we run away from it, they still chase us and they will continue throwing stone at us. So, after a distance we have to stop, turn back, throw the stones and chase them. If not, we will be dead. This is one of the filthiest methods of responding against politics. Still now i haven't talk about the two gigantic words-"Politically Strong"

If we think about the combined meaning of these two words, it means "The animal who has the power to control others, influence others, makes its own laws or policies to push someone or pull someone who is moving in the ladder".

If we take an example, George Bush is a politically strong person. But he is not the only person. Even sales manager is politically strong over his sales people, a guy who is selling water in the middle of a desert and in some school the peons or some people who don't have enough 'Pudhi' (knowledge) to stand near a teacher are politically strong over the teacher. This is politically strong. Does it seem to be little bit awkward? Ummm... not all the times but sometimes.

I'm not against politically strong people. I'm saying that politically strong people should be fair. I know that fairness won't happen.

We can't do anything with the politically strong people. It is very hard to impinge our thoughts to that kind of people. They won't hear. Their ears will go dumb at that point of time. We have to wait in our life until we become a politically strong. We have to go through a lot of pain in our path before become a politically strong person.

Another reality is, people don't want politics happen to them but they can do politics. For them it's not politics, it's complete fairness.

I don't know how long we people (not everyone) going to run away from politics. One day all the people run in the same phase with the politics including the people who are running away from politics. That's the time we expect some fairness.

Note: Some thoughts are not mine. I heard or read somewhere.

Who will win the fight? Elephant Vs Ant

You can ask me, what a weird title? You may say, the answer is obvious. Elephant. I'm not denying. Elephant will win. But there is an equal chance for the ant to win. For the ant to beat elephant, it has to bite the elephant. Not in the leg or trunk or tail. The ant has to bite inside the ear of the elephant. That bite will make the elephant to go mad and ultimately the elephant will die. This is not a fiction. It's true. So, size or skill doesn't require to win. Just a little bit common sense and willingness along with hard work is must to win a battle.

The reason for the write up is anyone or any team can win any game or battle unless they play the game or fight the battle with great enthusiasm and with team spirit.

It was a cloudy evening. All the player were wearing the stocking, shin guard and moving towards the hockey ground. Everyone seemed to be numb. These players were like a group of birds which flies in the direction where the wind blows. They were in the ship which is sailing alone in the sea. No one was there for them to show the direction which side to fly or no light house is there for showing them the way to reach the shore. They started their warming session. One man who was watching the team x by leaning on the goal post. That man was too young. One of the first year student from the team x went near him and asked who are you? Why are you here? Go away. You are not supposed to be here. If any of our senior sees you, he not only scolding you but also scolds me. That man told the boy in a bold voice. Poda...team x la irrukum ellareiyum innga kootitu va..(Call everyone in the team x). Everyone went there. That man told them I'm your new coach. For this year I'm gonna coach you. No one in the team x believed that he was a coach.

Practice session started. After two weeks he came to know about each and everyone in the team x. He knew about everyone strengths and weaknesses. After three weeks, he said OK guys it's the time to start the level ZERO. He arranged a practice match against a secondary school hockey team. The players were so much embarrassed what the hell? We are college team x how can we play with the school team. But what to do? They have to play.

Match started. Can you predict the result? The result was 0-0. The players were ashamed. Everyone thought that today coach gonna scold us. The coach came and said OK well done boys. We have to correct something. Tomorrow morning we will meet in the ground. All the players were shocked. What the hell is happening here. Instead of new coach if some other coach would have been there he would have beaten each and everyone and all the player's jersey would have been torn by him.

Afterwards, instead of concentrating on our skills and the way of playing. He inculcated team x spirit among the players. After that we have played any matches for 2 months. Every year that team x used to receive a call from a National level hockey tournament. The reason why they were calling the team x because that team x was near to area the tournament was held. All the best teams in that state used to participate in the tournament. Some teams from other state also participate in that tournament. That tournament is like a picnic for the team x for the past ten year. They never won a single match. This time also they went with the same motive. Luckily, the first match was against a team which is of equal strength to team x. Team x won the game. All the players were happy. This like Bangladesh won its first match against Ireland. Here comes the devil. The next match was against the best team in the state. All the players in the team are national players. Wining a match in National level tournament is more than enough for the team x. They are satisfied.

Next day, the match started. In the first 30 seconds, there was a sound DUP. GOOOOOOAL.......Don't mistake it was not team x. It was the opponent. Team x decided that today they gonna score at least 15 goals. Then again match started. The ball moved from the center. The temperature of team x was increasing like when the sun moves from the east and it comes perpendicular to our head at 12 pm. We feel the heat at 12pm. The match was so vigorous. All the players in the team x were defending. First half 1-0. Second half started team x was dying in the field. Suddenly another DUP. This time team x. Final whistle 1-1. Then tie breaker 4-5. Team x won the game. No one in that tournament believed. This is like Bangladesh won against Australia. The players were dancing in the ground. This is the time the players realised about their potential and about the team spirit. When compared to the other team, team x was no where. The one thing i.e., the core competency the team x had was team spirit and the competitive advantage was the coach who showed the right direction for the team. This was not the end. This was the starting journey of team x.

Anyone can do anything. It's not about muscle power. Its about willpower.

Rare to get a 'SECOND' chance

There is an old saying "Opportunity knocks the door once". If it does not knock, we have to search for the opportunity and have to grab the opportunity.

Everyone knows about the above mentioned lines. I'm not trying to justify the above statement or try to rationalize the statement. My question is whether the young chaps in India are allowed to go for searching their opportunities or not? The reason for such useless question is, because the most of the Indians are bound by their families.

This is the story about a lad who realized about his life in the mid of 20 years of his age. He wants to search his destiny. The main obstacle for his search is his family. The mentality of the lad is to achieve something. He doesn't want to be another brick in a wall. He wants to lead his life on his own way. At the same time he thinks about his parents who taught him each and every aspect of the life. Parents not only assisted the lad to take every step during his childhood but also they assisted him to take steps to walk in the lane called life. He can't sacrifice his parents for his destiny.

If we see the perspective of parents, we can't blame them. They are also normal human beings. Take a example, if someone giving me a small cute kitten. I keep that kitten for 2 weeks. Suddenly, if someone comes and asks for the kitten, Will I give? No, absolutely not. Instead I will fight with them or I will give some ransom to them to keep the kitten with me. See, what will the parents do? They are having a big dream about that lad. They enjoyed each and every moment of the success of the lad and they worried about the future of that lad and how much they sacrificed for the lad. No one can describe the above mentioned lines.

If we see the perspective of the lad, he doesn't want to lose his chance of searching his destiny. Because, the reason is he won't get a second chance in his life. This is the time he can go out and watch the world outside. He tried his best to stay with his parents but he couldn't. At the same time he tried his best to make his parents realize about the situation. He understands everything but his parents??????????

Which path to select? Search for his destiny or stay with their parents to make them happy.

How To Play Without Shedding Our Own Blood?????? "Game Theory"

Competition!!!!!!!!!! Where did it start? It started when we were in the womb of our mother. We all came to this battle field (earth) by annihilated millions of sperms. That's the place actually fighting started. The reasons for all the fights are 'showing the supremacy' and 'for the survival'. We all know what will happen at the end of the fight. Blood shed all over the place and look like a hell. The winner stands and the loser drops off. Is there any way to win the fight without shedding blood???

The book Blue Ocean Strategy says "How to create an uncontested market space and makes the competition irrelevant". This means how to move from the ocean which is red because of the vigorous competition to the ocean which blue where there is no blood and no competition. In the above scenario, we may be a Mahatma but    our competitors are not. They will imitate our strategy and make our blue ocean again a red ocean.

An another way is there to handle this. Here we won't shed the blood but we make our competitor to shed the blood. This strategy is possible if and only if we know about our competitors thoroughly. We have to have knowledge about the competitor's each and every micro move they make. What do they think? Are they thinking the same what we think? OR Are we thinking the same way what they think? If both of us think in the same way, then surely there will be blood all over the market. How to have a rational thinking that the competitor won't think? How to get a success by knowing what the competitors thinking?

There is an economic concept is there "GAME THEORY- This theory is about making rational decision by analyzing all the outcomes and by selecting the best suitable outcome which make us to survive and may or may not help the competitors. This also talks about two kinds of decision making "Simultaneous"(taking decisions simultaneously as with our competitors) and "Sequential"(taking decision after the decision which is taken by our competitor)  The vital point here is the rational decision won't let us down". Prisoners Dilemma which explains about game theory. This talks about the rational decision making behavior of the two prisoners.

Yesterday, I was watching a movie "THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY" a cowboy movie. In the climax they implemented the game theory. What was the thinking of the three guys (the good, the bad and the ugly). The director beautifully showed the scene how they were rationally thinking in the verge of death.

The scene is, three of them found a treasure. They didn't want to split the treasure into three. Now the battle began. Think about an equilateral triangle, each one of them standing in the three points of the triangle and each one having a gun. Will you able to judge what were they thinking? Can you think how many possible ways each one think by killing the other two to get the treasure?

Who will win? They guys who pulled the trigger first or the guy who pulled the trigger last or the guy who runs off or guy who stands still or is there any possibility of any one of them killing the other two or etc.,the list goes on.................

Think rationally. What is the best decision can one take in that scenario to protect himself and to get the treasure? Analyze the outcomes and select the best possible outcome and make a decision.

Are we rational or irrational in decision making? Think about how many rational and irrational decisions we made 1:100. May be even more 1:200 or even more. But in corporate there is no place for irrationality.

Watch the movie "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly". There are two kinds of people in the world "one is rational and other is irrational" .

Which one are you???????????

When does change happen?

Evolution of the earth
Evolution of a life in the earth
Formation of air and water
Finally.....
Evolution of a wonderful creature in the earth is a "Human Being".

The above are the top mysteries. There are theories like Darwinism explained about the evolution of life in the earth. The ambiguous part here is how long does it take for all the changes to happen? Do you think that these are all happened within 2 or 3 or 10 or 100 years. It's NOT. It took million and million of years for all the changes. Even for an amoeba (an unicellular organism) to change into a multi cellular organism it took more than 100 million years. This amoeba undergone many molecular changes under various environmental conditions then it transformed into a multi cellular.

The point I want to make here is for an unicellular organism it took 100 million year. But why everyone want multi cellular organisms like human beings have change quickly. It's bit contradictory. I think so.

My question is whether we need change or not. The answer is obviously YES. The funniest part is everyone want to change but we are so reluctant to change. It's very easy to say others to change. But when it comes to us, we ask a question Why do I change? Sometimes the question is relevant but most of the times is still a question. In some situations we stand as an odd if we don't change.

Even a rock which wants to change into a beautiful sculpture will undergo lots of pain. The sculptor helps the rock to form a beautiful sculptor. Even for an object from a wrought iron it undergoes forging by a blacksmith. If we compare the characteristic of a sculptor and a blacksmith. Both of them are different. Blacksmith is so ruff and tuff when compared to a sculptor. Sculptor is little bit soft. He hits the stone with care otherwise the stone will break. But the blacksmith hits like a meteoroid hiting the earth's surface.

We people also need a blacksmith or a sculptor for the change.

According to me, for us to change we need a great blow like a blow given by a blacksmith using a hammer. Deformation of our behaviour depends on the malleability we have otherwise we will break. My opinion is everyone need a hard blow or a hard drift to change our career.

"CHANGE IS DIFFICULT BUT IT'S GOOD"

"Be malleable for the change"

Have You Ever Felt The Sensation? "Hands Wash Away The Tears"

SENSITIVE TOUCH. After a long time, I talked with my 'SANDIYARGAL'(members in my college team). I remembered some of the memorable incidents that happened during my college days. If we think about our past life i.e., our college days, we almost remember the moments that made us merry. In course of time there may be a chance of forgetting some of those merry moments.

Some of the incidents which we never forget. They remain as a scar. Those scars are the incidents that occurred due to some emotions. I don't know how to define those emotions. I think some people can understand.

Have You Ever Felt The Sensation? "Hands Wash Away The Tears". Yes. From our mom and dad when we were young. But, the folks born somewhere in the world, not our blood relation, don't expect anything from us wash away the fluid that secrets from our lachrymal glands when we are under depression or we are subjected to any cataclysm. The hands of the folks come automatically when our hands searching for a support.

Friendship is not only limit to smoking 30 cigars everyday, boozing until sunrise and teasing girls or boys in a group. The above activities do not add any value to the friendship. There are lot of things there, apart from the above activities. Friends are like thumb finger. They are inescapable. We can use them as a defensive tool or an offensive one. Its up to us. A good friend will know about our emotions.

I still remember the days, they fought for me, cried for me, laughed along with me, cared for me and kicked me whenever I was side-tracking. I'm not the only greenhorn who had friends. Everyone have friends. The vital part is whether the friends are just holding your hands for their support or holding your hands for your support.

I remember one statement that came in a movie named "Its a wonderful life". The statement is "REMEMBER NO MAN IS A FAILURE WHO HAS FRIENDS".

"Respect Friendship".

They are like the shadow, which follows us until................................................

Taste Of Sacrifice!!!!!!!!!!!! Dads are not chesty

Have we ever sacrificed anything for our loved ones? Of course, if we want something from them. Technically, sacrifice is directly proportional to our wants from others. Why are we reluctant to sacrifice tiny things to our loved ones? By chance if someone sacrificed something for someone, why are they loquacious about it? Show off? Do they want to show their benevolence?

ARE THE ABOVE INTERPRETATIONS TRUE IN ALL THE CASES?

NO.

A small fable,

A 13yr old lad completed his 5th standard. One day, he saw some of the boys who are elder than him were playing Chess. On seeing them playing, the little boy also wanted to play chess. So, he approached his dad. He shouted, "Dad, I want a chess board". His dad who is gentle in nature bought him a chess board. After a few days, the boy somehow learnt to play chess. He beat all of his friends. The boy was hubris.Being hubris is not his fault. If we keenly noticed ourselves in our young age, we had the mentality that we have to win all the battles whoever the opponent is. Everyday, both(dad and son) were used to play chess. The boy won all the matches against his dad. One day, unfortunately the boy was in the situation of losing the game. He didn't know what to do? Dad saw the tears stagnant in the eyes of his adorable son. He didn't want his son to lose the game. Didn't want to hurt him. Didn't want to lower his confidence. His dad deliberately made a wrong move. The boy won the match. The boy didn't know about his dad deliberate move. He thought that he played well and he won the match.

Now tell, who was happy? The boy was happy but the dad was in ECSTASY. The story may be boring. But the message it delivers in the last is notable.

I'm not saying to the people to sacrifice their life or money. Just try to sacrifice something very tiny for your loved ones and make them feel happy. You will feel the euphoria.

At that moment that boy didn't noticed his dad tiny sacrifice. But he saw the eyes of his dad. Later, when he grown up he remembered those eyes and the moment, he felt proud of his dad.

Now the message part,
We managers, even though you know small things, just ask your subordinates or your boss. Hello boss "You are well versed in the above topic, can you please just explain me". They will surely explain you. This will create an impression in your boss or sub ordinate's mind that you are harmless and open-minded. In future, if they have any doubts, clarifications or even help they will approach you. You are breaking the barriers between you and them. This will lead to create rapport. This is my opinion. If possible, just try it once. I tried.

Make your loved ones happy for at least a few circumstances.

Stupendous Manager Outside Corporate

Where can we see the managers? Managers are not only found in the corporate. Our Dad, Mom is also great managers. There are lots of things have to learn from them. Have we learnt any managerial skills from them? May be? Today, I'm going to write about an enthusiastic, bold, renowned manager of "RED DEVILS".

Anyone figured who is it? It is, Sir Alex Ferguson a Scottish man, the manager of the English Club the legend "Manchester United (Red Devils)". I'm a great fan of ManU from the age of 14. Do you people know why I like ManU? Because in my childhood days, ManU used to defeat brutally all the other teams which were facing ManU vis-a-vis. Later, I started loving football (only if ManU plays). I never missed a ManU match until my 10th standard. During 11th and 12th standard I stayed in hostel. So, I missed the cruel actions of ManU. Again crave for seeing ManU matches started when I entered my engineering. The pitiful situation in my college was, there were 2 groups, one was supporting ManU (nearly 6 persons including me) and the other group was against ManU (Against ManU group members were the supporters of other clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and etc. They were around 40). Surely there will be a fight after the ManU match whether ManU won or lost. Those fights were like passing clouds.

Ok, now come to the topic. I usually call Sir Alex Ferguson as "FERGI" or "THE BOSS of ManU". I always used to say to my rivals (supporters of other football club), whoever playing for ManU, even ManU is full of Greenhorns ManU will win BOSS FERGI is there. He is a successful manager of ManU since 1986. No manager served in the same football club so far.

What does differ Fergi from other club manager? "Fergi won't buy great players, he will develop great players" eg.,Christiano Ronaldo, Rude Van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney, Becham and so on.

What I want to say here is "We future managers will be futile if our contribution will not add value to the organization". "We should develop new values to the organization which we belong".

The character which I like from Sir Alex is "Whatever may be the condition, he won't fail to support his team or team members". He will sacrifice anything for his players and his team. He will take the blame when the team lost the game. If ManU wins the game, he will say "My boys played well today, they deserve the victory".

We managers can also follow his footsteps if you think its worth. "A good manager will come into picture when his team fails and the team comes into picture when it wins".

Folks, numerous things have to learn outside corporate world.

There are lots of things have to learn from Sir Alex, aren't they?

PROUD TO BE THE SUPPORTER OF "RED DEVILS"

Is RENUNCIATION of others really influencing us?

My personal opinion is YES. And also NO, in cases like saint and ascetic. It is very easy to say I don't care about anyone. I'm always do the things that i want to do. Others repudiation won't influence me at all. But in reality, is it true? May be or may not.

Some thought process has been going on in my mind since last night. I don't know what exactly is it?. But something agitating. Leave it, I don't know how to say.

Intellection happened because I didn't get the approval from someone who is very close to me. For the past one week i'm reading a book named "Erroneous Zone" written by Wayne Dyer. In the book what he is saying is why the people are worrying or suffering when they are rejected from someone? He has written a small fable

"Consider a politician who won the election by getting 52% of vote. Even though he won the election and became the chief minister of a state, notice one thing keenly. In that state 52% of the people like him and the remaining 48% of the people totally detest him". The politician is not going to care about 42% of people who don't like him. If he is going to care about them, there is no use in it. The politician has to think about 52% of the people who like him.

My interpertation

"Mr. X likes Jesus, Mr. Y likes Allah and Mr. Z like Siva. Even some of the people who like Jesus, don't like Allah and Siva and vice versa". See the situation of God Almighty. We are just pitiful Homo Sapiens. Some people like you and some people don't like you. One of my professor always used to say the rule of 1/3. 1/3 of the people like you, another 1/3 people don't like you and the remaining 1/3 are in an oscillation whether to like him or not.

Before writing this post i felt numb and i contemplated. A startling sign came in my mind that how to ostracize those thought process from my mind. I started writing my views in the blog. Bit relaxing now.

Even though repudiation influnced me for a long time, I just poured the "-ve" thought process from my mind into this post. Now the pot is empty. Let fill it with "+ve" sentiments.
